Softball Recap: Nolensville Find Success

It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Nolensville ultimately got the result they hoped for on Sunday. They had just enough and edged out the Ravenwood Raptors 2-1. The Knights haven't had any issues with the Raptors recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive win against them.

Madi Creasman spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. Those ten strikeouts set a new season-high mark for her.

On the hitting side, Lily Dale was incredible, firing off two home runs while going 2-for-4. That's the most hits she has posted since back in March. Eva Armstrong was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple.

Nolensville's victory bumped their record up to 24-11. As for Ravenwood, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-14 record this season.

As of now, neither Nolensville nor Ravenwood have any future games scheduled.
