Baseball Recap: Belmont Takes a Loss

For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last four times Belmont and Arlington have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Marauders came up short against the Spy Ponders, falling 10-1. The matchup marked the Marauders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 2-4. As for Arlington, their record now sits at 2-3.

Looking ahead, Belmont will be playing in front of their home fans against Westport at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Arlington, they will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Reading Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Thursday.
