Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Eastern Alamance walked away with it. They put the hurt on the Northeast Guilford Rams with a sharp 3-0 victory on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Eastern Alamance's win bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Northeast Guilford, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-17.

Looking ahead, Eastern Alamance is taking a road trip to take on Croatan at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cougars will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight. Northeast Guilford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
