Saint Joseph extended their home winning streak to 11 games thanks to a huge performance from Lexi Loya. The Jesters walked away with a 26-14 win over the Notre Dame (SO) Knights on Thursday for which the team can thank Loya, who threw for 248 yards and four touchdowns. She also put in work on the defensive side of the ball, making two total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Saint Joseph's defense made their presence known, laying out the QB three times. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Victoria Espinoza, Lauren Porras, and Lexy Urias, who each picked up one sack apiece.

Saint Joseph's victory bumped their record up to 14-1. As for Notre Dame (SO), their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-3.

Looking ahead, Saint Joseph will take on Bishop Montgomery at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. The Jesters will be up against the Knights' rather soft defense (which has allowed 35.33 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Notre Dame (SO), they will challenge Bishop Alemany at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
