After a string of four wins, Coahoma's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 79-34 loss at the hands of the Jayton Jaybirds. The contest marked the Bulldogs' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Coahoma's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for Jayton, the victory (which was their 30th in a row dating back to last season) raised their record to 3-0.

Coahoma will take on Stanton at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Coahoma is facing Stanton at the right time seeing as Stanton is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Jayton, they will finish 2024 at home by hosting Eldorado at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Eldorado will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Jayton surely won't give up without a fight.
