Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Burley). They walked away with a 15-12 victory over the Wood River Wolverines on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-5 on Tuesday.

The win made it two in a row for Burley and bumps their season record up to 3-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Wood River, their loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Burley will head out to face off against Twin Falls at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. The Bobcats will need to watch out since the Bruins have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for Wood River, they will take on Skyview at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
