Basketball Game Preview: Chattooga Indians vs. South Atlanta Hornets

The Chattooga Indians will take on the South Atlanta Hornets in a holiday battle at at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. South Atlanta took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Chattooga, who comes in off a win.

Chattooga will head into Saturday's game on the come-up: they were handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last matchup, but they sure didn't let that happen against Ridgeland on Saturday. Chattooga put the hurt on Ridgeland with a sharp 67-42 win. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 25 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, South Atlanta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 45-28 bruising from Gordon Lee. The game marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

South Atlanta's loss dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Chattooga, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
