After a string of four wins, Jackson County's good fortune finally ran out on Tuesday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Buford Wolves. If the Panthers were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to the Wolves when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Jackson County had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19.

Jackson County's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Buford, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Coincidentally, Jackson County and Buford will both be playing Dunwoody the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
