Softball Recap: Scotia-Glenville Victorious

Scotia-Glenville won the last time they faced Glens Falls and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Tartans won by a run and slipped past the Black Bears 4-3. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tartans have posted since April 10th.

Keeley Kristel spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and two unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Scotia-Glenville saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Molly Juedes, who went 1-for-4 with one run.

Scotia-Glenville's record is now 10-3-1. As for Glens Falls, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-6.

The Tartans are on an eight-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), the Rams a three-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind. Meanwhile, Glens Falls will face off against rival Queensbury at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
