Preview: Marion County vs. Hackleburg
Marion County will be defending their home turf for the first time on Friday when they go up against Hackleburg at 7:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
Marion County had to travel to play their first game of the season, and the final result was worth the trip. They were fully in charge last Friday, breezing past Vina 42-0. Marion County was expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the rankings had forecast.
Meanwhile, Hackleburg had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They took a 16-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of Winston County.
Marion County's win lifted them to 1-0 while Hackleburg's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if Marion County can add another positive mark to their record or if Hackleburg can shake off the loss and take the spring out of Marion County's step.
