Basketball Game Preview: Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders vs. Ramsey Rams

Dwight Morrow is 1-7 against Ramsey since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Dwight Morrow Maroon Raiders will venture away from home to take on the Ramsey Rams at 7:00 p.m. Dwight Morrow knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine games -- so hopefully Ramsey likes a good challenge.

Last Sunday, Dwight Morrow was able to grind out a solid win over West Side, taking the game 58-46.

Ramsey fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back victories it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They strolled past Vernon with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 58-41. The win was all the more spectacular given the Rams' disadvantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 248th, while the Vikings are ranked 121st).

Ramsey has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-9 record this season. As for Dwight Morrow, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Dwight Morrow came up short against Ramsey in their previous matchup back in December of 2019, falling 63-51. Can Dwight Morrow avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
