Basketball Recap: Monument Valley Cougars vs. Bryce Valley Mustangs
Monument Valley lost against Bryce Valley back in February and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Monument Valley Cougars took a blow against the Bryce Valley Mustangs, falling 74-28. The Cougars were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 45-7.

Despite the loss, Monument Valley saw an underclassman step up: freshman Caleb Cly went 5 of 12 on his way to 14 points. Those 14 points set a new season-high mark for Cly.

Monument Valley will take on Many Farms in a holiday battle at at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Bryce Valley, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-57 victory against San Juan on the 14th.
