Soccer Recap: St. Andrew's Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Sanford

St. Andrew faced Sanford in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Cardinals fell just short of the Warriors by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to St. Andrew's of the 2-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Andrew's fell to 8-1. As for Sanford, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3-2 record this season.
