Basketball Recap: St. Michael's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

St. Michael lost against Farmington back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Horsemen took a hard 60-42 fall against the Scorpions. The loss put an end to the Horsemen's undefeated start to the season.

Farmington's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Conner Neff, who posted eight points in addition to five rebounds and three steals. The dominant performance also gave Neff a new career-high in three-point shooting accuracy (67%). Keondre Black was another key player, shooting 83% from the field en route to 14 points.

Having lost for the first time this season, St. Michael's fell to 2-1. As for Farmington, the win keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

St. Michael's has already played their next game, a 65-56 defeat against Santa Fe Indian on the 6th. As for Farmington, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-37 loss against Santa Fe on the 6th.
