Soccer Recap: Highland Park Comes Up Short

Highland Park lost against Atchison back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Scots took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Phoenix. Highland Park have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Their goal came courtesy of Micah Williams, who's now up to 22 this season.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-1. As for Atchison, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-3-1 record this season.

Highland Park wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 9-1 defeat against Sumner Academy on the 8th. As for Atchison, they have also already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against Washington on the 13th.
