Basketball Recap: Chester Cyclones vs. Ware Shoals Hornets

Chester lost against Ware Shoals last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Chester Cyclones fell to the Ware Shoals Hornets 70-65.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Ware Shoals to victory, but perhaps none more so than Brayden Medlin, who posted 21 points. Those 21 points gave Medlin a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jace Stewart, who earned 19 points and five rebounds.

Chester dropped their record down to 1-3 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Ware Shoals, their victory ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-3.

Chester wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 57-40 win against Buford on the 13th. As for Ware Shoals, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, an 82-63 loss against McCormick on the 16th.
