Soccer Recap: Mark Morris Takes a Loss

Mark Morris lost against Hockinson on October 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Monarchs lost 3-0 to the Hawks. While losing is never fun, Mark Morris can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 130th, while Hockinson are ranked 37th).

This is the second loss in a row for Mark Morris and nudges their season record down to 6-9-1. As for Hockinson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-3-1 record this season.

Mark Morris will take on Black Hills at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hockinson does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
