Basketball Recap: Leadership Academy Snaps Seven-Game Streak of Wins at Home

Leadership Academy entered their game against Bishop McGuinness on Thursday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Leadership Academy Falcons lost 65-42 to the Bishop McGuinness Villains. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Falcons have suffered since February 13, 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Leadership Academy lost, don't look at Caden Ryker. Despite the final result, he almost dropped a double-double on 22 points and nine rebounds. What's more, Ryker also racked up two blocks, the most he's had since back in February of 2024. Caleb Foster was another key player, putting up six points along with six boards and three blocks.

Leadership Academy's loss ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-2. As for Bishop McGuinness, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.
