Volleyball Recap: North Star Comes Up Short

North Star had to hit the road for their first game and it wasn't the result they were hoping for. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cambria Heights Highlanders on Saturday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Cougars of the 1-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2024.

Cambria Heights now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, North Star will face off against Ligonier Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cambria Heights, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Somerset on the 23rd.
