Softball Recap: Mountain Home Comes Up Short

Friday just wasn't the day for Mountain Home's offense. They fell 3-0 to the Greenwood Bulldogs on Friday. The game marked the first time this season in which the Bombers were not able to get on the board.

Mountain Home's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Greenwood, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 14-3.

Mountain Home has already played their next contest (against Melbourne), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Greenwood, they will welcome Lavaca at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bulldogs 2.9, the Golden Arrows 1.8) so any runs scored will be well earned.
