Volleyball Recap: Grace Parnell and Mia Nasca Secure Win for Hornell

Hornell's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Wellsville Lions. The Red Raiders haven't had any issues with the Lions recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-16, 14-25, 25-5.

Hornell was led to victory by Mia Nasca and Grace Parnell. Nasca had 12 digs and six aces, while Parnell had four aces. Nasca has been hot, having posted 11 or more digs the last five times she's played.

Hornell's win bumped their record up to 4-2. As for Wellsville, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Hornell will take on Wayland-Cohocton at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wellsville, they will welcome Bolivar-Richburg at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
