Soccer Recap: Alhambra Takes a Loss

After soaring to four goals the game before, Alhambra was a bit more limited in their game on Wednesday. They fell 3-1 to the Millennium Tigers. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Tigers apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2015.

Alhambra's goal came courtesy of Benjamin Gallegos, who's now up to three this season.

Alhambra's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Millennium, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-5-1.

Alhambra wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 5-0 loss against Washington on the 9th. As for Millennium, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Liberty on the 13th.
