League recap: Monmouth-Roseville scores huge upset over Rockridge

The biggest upset of the week belonged to Rockridge, who took down 196th ranked Rockridge, 25-20.

Macomb extended the longest winning streak in West Central this week by beating Princeton/Ohio, 20-0. The win marks seventh in a row for the the Bombers.

West Hancock co-op [Hamilton/Warsaw]'s Coy Dorothy and Austin Hardy have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Dorothy has thrown for 2132 yards this season, while Hardy has 48 catches for 860 yards. Ben Gittings from Illini West leads the league in rushing with 551 yards.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Macomb takes on the Rockets. The Bombers are in first place, while Rockridge is in third place.

The top two defenses in the league will face off this season when Macomb takes on the Rockets. The Bombers have allowed 89 points this season, while Rockridge has given up 105. Macomb allowed 0 points last week as it topped the Tigers.

Monmouth-Roseville moved up to 243 from 281 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in West Central. The Titans climbed the ranks as a result of a 25-20 win over the Rockets.
