McCracken County came tearing into Thursday's matchup with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.4 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victors by a 10-2 margin over the Paducah Tilghman Blue Tornado. The Mustangs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 17 contests by six runs or more this season.

McCracken County pushed their record up to 29-5 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.2 runs over those games. As for Paducah Tilghman, their defeat dropped their record down to 22-10.
