Basketball Recap: Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Comes Up Short

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet lost against Hume-Fogg back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals lost to the Hume-Fogg Blue Knights at home by a 47-29 margin.

Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Hume-Fogg, they moved to 3-7 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet will welcome Valor College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Hume-Fogg, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against LEAD Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
