Volleyball Recap: Del Oro Golden Eagles vs. Whitney Wildcats        
        
		
             Del Oro hadn't done well against Whitney recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Wednesday. The Del Oro Golden Eagles were the clear victor by  a  3-0 margin over the Whitney Wildcats. The Golden Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.
 Del Oro walked away with the   win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-18, 25-20,  25-15.
  Bella Rasi had an outrageously good game as she  had five  kills, three  digs,  and three  aces. She is also on a roll when it comes to  assists, as she's  now  posted 13 or more in the last 30 games she's  played dating back to last season. Another player making a difference was  Gia Hoffman, who  had 12  digs and a  kill.
 The  victory made it two in a row for Del Oro and  bumps their season record up to 10-11. As for Whitney, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost ten of their last 12 contests,  which put a noticeable dent in their 9-16 record  this season.
 Del Oro will challenge Rocklin at 6:00  p.m.  on Monday. Rocklin will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something Del Oro surely won't give up without a fight. Whitney has already played their next game,  a  2-1  victory against Northgate on the 5th.
