Glencoe never let their opponents score on Friday. They breezed past the Wellborn Panthers to the tune of 42-0. The Yellowjackets' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bronner McMurray had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 175 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries. Alex Hudson Jr was in the mix as well, providing Glencoe with two scores.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Glencoe was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 304 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since the start of last season.

Glencoe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jalen Hunter and Montress Hampton.

The win made it two in a row for Glencoe and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 21 points in those games. As for Wellborn, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.

Glencoe will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hokes Bluff at 7:00 p.m. on the 26th. As for Wellborn, they didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 36-12 victory against Saks on the 19th.
