Volleyball Recap: Capistrano Valley Christian Comes Up Short

Capistrano Valley Christian was the 3-0 winner over Valley Christian when they last played one another back in October of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Eagles lost 3-0 to the Defenders on Tuesday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-16.

Nala Dailey paced Capistrano Valley Christian's offense, picking up four kills. Dailey got some help from McKenzie Meserve and her three assists. Hope Van Rensselaer controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Capistrano Valley Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Valley Christian, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Capistrano Valley Christian will host St. Margaret's at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Valley Christian, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Saint Joseph at 6:15 p.m. on Thursday.
