Baseball Recap: McLaurin Takes a Loss

If McLaurin was riding high fresh off their 24-14 takedown of Raymond on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The McLaurin Tigers lost 11-4 to the North Forrest Eagles on Saturday. The match marked the Tigers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

McLaurin saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Braylen Tillis, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one RBI.

McLaurin's defeat dropped their record down to 3-2. As for North Forrest, their record is now 2-3.

While McLaurin had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
