She has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times she's played. Another player making a difference was Chloe Davis, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.
Northern Cambria was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .429. The last time their batting average was this high was back in April of 2024.
Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Penns Manor's offense. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of Cambria Heights on Monday. The Comets have struggled against the Highlanders recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.
Penns Manor saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Allie Rhea, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Northern Cambria's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Penns Manor, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Northern Cambria has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 5.4 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Penns Manor struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 6.4 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
