Soccer Recap: Northeast Comes Up Short

Northeast was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 7-0 to the Piper Bengals. The Hurricanes were not able to make up for their loss to the Bengals from their previous meeting back in December of 2022.

Northeast's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Piper, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-3.

Northeast will square off against Hollywood Hills at 4:00 p.m. on January 16th. As for Piper, they wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next matchup, a 1-1 draw against South Plantation on the 9th.
