Baseball Recap: Seward Park Bears vs. Rustin
Seward Park came out on top against Rustin on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive eight-run second inning. The Bears took their match against Rustin 13-9. For the Bears, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 victory Rustin walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2019.

Satchel Haynes was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single hit and allowing only one earned run while striking out six over four innings pitched. Haynes was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two doubles. Seward Park is undefeated when Haynes posts two or more runs, but 3-5 otherwise.
In other batting news, Wesley Seeman-George was excellent, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and two runs.
