Baseball Recap: Cate Picks Up Eighth Consecutive Victory

While Cate put up some runs on Tuesday, the same can't be said for Dunn. The Rams had just enough and edged out the Earwigs 1-0. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 9-3 win back in March.

Cate's win was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Quinn Pullen, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one double.

The victory was the eighth in a row for Cate, bringing their record up to 10-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.9 runs on average over those games. As for Dunn, they moved to 7-4 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.

Cate has already played their next game, a 12-10 defeat against Thacher on the 1st. As for Dunn, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next match, a 6-2 victory against Coast Union on the 2nd.
