Soccer Recap: Aurora Takes a Loss

Aurora's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They came up short against the Hastings Tigers, falling 5-1. While losing is never fun, Aurora can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska soccer rankings (they are ranked 53rd, while Hastings are ranked eighth).

Aurora's defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Hastings, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-1.

Aurora does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Hastings, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Northwest on the 6th.
