Basketball Recap: Carmel Greyhounds vs. Noblesville Millers

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Carmel can now relate to. They fell 51-40 to the Noblesville Millers on Tuesday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Greyhounds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 61-49 back in November of 2024.

Meredith Tippner was her usual excellent self, going 8 of 16 en route to 22 points along with eight rebounds and four steals for Noblesville. That makes it 13 consecutive games in which Tippner has scored at least a third of Noblesville's points. Another player making a difference was C.C. Quigley, who posted nine points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Carmel has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season. As for Noblesville, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-4 record this season.
