Frisco had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Reedy Lions 2-1. The win was some much needed relief for the Raccoons as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Frisco's victory was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Owen Watson, who went 1-for-2 with one run.

Frisco's win bumped their record up to 21-9. As for Reedy, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 20-8 record.

Frisco will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
