Glasgow hadn't beaten Russell County on the road since September 4, 2021 but that history sure didn't bother them on Thursday. The Scotties came out on top in a nail-biter against the Lakers, sneaking past 2-1.

The win got Glasgow back to even at 8-8-3. As for Russell County, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 8-5-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Glasgow will face off against Warren East at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Warren East will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Glasgow surely won't give up without a fight. As for Russell County, they will take on Campbellsville at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
