Baseball Game Preview: Bothell Cougars vs. Juanita Ravens

The Bothell Cougars will face off against the Juanita Ravens at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Bothell is coming into the matchup on a six-game losing streak.

Bothell fell victim to North Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They took a 4-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Jaguars. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Cougars were not able to get on the board.

Bothell got a good showing from Matt Small, who pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. The dominant performance also gave Small a new career-low in walks (zero).

At the plate, Bothell saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rylan Edwards, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, it was a Battle of the Birds when Juanita duked it out with Woodinville on Monday. The Ravens came out on top against the Falcons by a score of 5-2.

Juanita's victory bumped their record up to 5-7. As for Bothell, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 5-7.

Bothell skirted past Juanita 8-7 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Do the Cougars have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Ravens turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
