Volleyball Recap: Audubon Takes a Loss

Audubon was the 3-0 winner over Milwaukee Arts when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Cardinals took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crimson Stars on Wednesday.

Audubon actually scored more points across those four sets (88-86), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-23, 11-25, 25-19.

Genevieve Piaskoski paced Audubon's offense, picking up three kills. Piaskoski got some help from Luzelaina Mejia-Custodio and her three assists. Lori Seif controlled things from the service line, finishing with eight aces.

Audubon now has a losing record of 1-2.

Audubon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Milwaukee Arts, they will head out on the road to square off against Racine Park at 7:00 p.m. on the 25th.
