Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Canton couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Pontotoc Warriors by a score of 41-39 on Friday. The Tigers' defeat signaled the end of their 16-game winning streak.

Canton's loss dropped their record down to 28-6. As for Pontotoc, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won nine of their last ten contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

As of now, neither Canton nor Pontotoc have any future games scheduled.
