Basketball Game Preview: Faith Christian Academy Eagles vs. First Academy Lions

The Faith Christian Academy Eagles will head out on the road to take on the First Academy Lions at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.

Faith Christian Academy is headed into Friday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 11th straight games dating back to last season on Thursday. They took a blow against Augusta E, falling 79-43.

The losing side was boosted by Riley Anderson, who posted 21 points. Hagen Williams was another key player, putting up nine points.

Meanwhile, First Academy hadn't done well against CHESS Academy recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Lions secured a 48-44 W over the Knights.

First Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Faith Christian Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Everything came up roses for Faith Christian Academy against First Academy in their previous meeting back in November of 2024, as the squad secured a 71-34 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
