Baseball Recap: Environmental Charter Comes Up Short

Environmental Charter blew Ambassador out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Monday Ambassador got their revenge. The White Tigers fell just short of the Lions by a score of 4-2. It was the first time this season that the White Tigers let down their fans at home.

Christian Salazar was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with two stolen bases and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Kevin Ituarte, who went 2-for-3 with one triple and one RBI.

Environmental Charter is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 13-8. As for Ambassador, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-5.

Environmental Charter does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ambassador, they will venture away from home to square off against Compton Early College at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
