Volleyball Game Preview: Huron Tigers vs. O'Gorman Knights

Huron is 1-9 against O'Gorman since September of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Huron managed to slip by Mitchell the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Kernels on Tuesday.

While Huron ultimately came up short, they really made Mitchell work, particularly in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-17, 25-23.

Meanwhile, O'Gorman faced Harrisburg in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Knights fell 3-1 to the Tigers. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team has come up short the last seven times they've met.

The final score came out to 25-19, 21-25, 25-15, 25-19.

O'Gorman's defeat dropped their record down to 21-4. As for Huron, their loss dropped their record down to 8-12.

Huron couldn't quite get it done against O'Gorman in their previous meeting back in November of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Tigers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
