Soccer Recap: Tyner Academy Takes a Loss

If Tyner Academy was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Tellico Plains on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the St. Andrews-Sewanee Mountain Lions on Monday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, Tyner Academy haven't been shut out since back in March.

Tyner Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7-2. As for St. Andrews-Sewanee, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-5-2.

Tyner Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Andrews-Sewanee, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 1-0 victory against Soddy Daisy on the 22nd.
