Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes Down Brook Hill in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Trinity Christian walked away with it. They walked away with a 62-55 win over the Brook Hill Guard on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Trinity Christian got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Jett Mccasland out in front who posted 21 points. Mccasland's evening made it four games in a row in which he has scored at least 19 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lucai Anderson, who scored 16 points.

Trinity Christian's win bumped their record up to 23-13. As for Brook Hill, their defeat dropped their record down to 27-6.

Looking ahead, Trinity Christian will take on Brentwood Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Trinity Christian knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 13 games -- so hopefully Brentwood Christian likes a good challenge. Brook Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
