Football Recap: Phillips Comes Up Short

After flying high against Steinmetz College Prep last Friday, Phillips came back down to earth. The Wildcats lost to the DeKalb Barbs on the road by a 26-8 margin on Friday.

Phillips' defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for DeKalb, the victory also got them back to even at 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Phillips will square off against Johnson at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. This will be the Wildcats' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for DeKalb, they will challenge Kaneland at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
