Ironton hadn't done well against Portsmouth recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Fighting Tigers never let the Trojans get on the board and left with a 1-0 win. Ironton's winning goal came courtesy of Liam Almekinder.

Ironton's victory bumped their record up to 4-6-1. As for Portsmouth, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-5.
