Eastern Guilford was the 55-13 winner over Asheboro when they last played one another back in March of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Wildcats took a 37-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Comets on Friday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (31), the Wildcats still had to take the loss.

Eastern Guilford's loss came despite strong showings from Javion Majette and Tyler Whaley-Melvin.
