Everything went their way against the Spanaway Lake Sentinels on Monday as they made off with a 22-6 win. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Sumner got a massive performance out of Emma Hixon, who got on base in four of her five plate appearances with four runs, two stolen bases, and three RBI. Those two stolen bases gave Hixon a new career-high. Riley Meyers was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Sumner kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 19 hits. They are 9-1 when they post 11 or more hits.

The win made it two in a row for Sumner and bumps their season record up to 12-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 18.5 runs over those games. As for Spanaway Lake, they dropped their record down to 0-18 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.
