Baseball Recap: Aransas Pass Takes a Loss

Aransas Pass fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Taft on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Greyhounds by a score of 4-3. The Panthers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Aransas Pass' loss dropped their record down to 6-10-1. As for Taft, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-8-1.

Looking ahead, Aransas Pass will head out on the road to square off against Odem at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Taft, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against the Panthers at 7:30 p.m. on the 17th.
